An overseas customer posed the question, “In a country that produces so many outstanding whisky and Sake products, why are there no robust rice-based spirits in Japan?” Our answer is Soden, a profoundly rich and aromatic Honkaku Rice Shochu experience.
Our master blender starts with a 10-year aged Shochu wholly produced using Rice Koji, then carefully combines it with an inspired selection of our own Honkaku Rice Shochu, achieving a distinguished umami balance.
Offering an elegant dryness, distinct rice sweetness, and a subtle aroma not seen in any other spirits, while also possessing the highest ABV in our lineup at 40%, Soden is truly worthy of being called a “distilled Sake spirit.”
We recommend enjoying it on the rocks, mixed with sparkling water, or even mixed with your favorite beverages as a cocktail base.
